VAJA ceramics and design was founded in 2009 by modelmaker Fred Owren and designer Henna Lamberg. We are located in Loviisa, about 80 km from Helsinki at east coast.
VAJA Finland products are designed and produced by VAJA ceramics and design. Products are made of vitroeus porcelain in small editions using mass production techniques.
Fred Owren has studied at Formakademin i Lidköping and graduated 2001. During 2002- 2008 he has been working as a model maker in Arabia/ Iittala, which has gave him an excellent knowledge of mass production of ceramics.
Henna Lamberg has studied industrial design at Kuopio Academy of Design and graduated 2003. Experience of mass production of ceramics and making decals she has got while she has been working in Finnish ceramic factory Arabia/ Iittala at 2004- 2007.
