Founded by Fred Owren and Henna Lamberg, VAJA Finland was born out of a passion for Finnish ceramic manufacturing and high-quality craftsmanship. The company began in a renovated workspace in its own yard, an old wooden shed, which gave the company its name VAJA. VAJA Finland's clean-lined dishes and decorative patterns have delighted our customers around the world since 2012. We hope that we can continue our work with Finnish design and maintain high-quality ceramic expertise in Finland in the future.

The crises of recent years have affected both private households and companies, and we have not been spared their negative effects. We have tried to adapt to the changed world situation, but when the economic challenges became too great, we have applied for business restructuring. The goal of the restructuring is to stabilize our operations and secure the continuation of the VAJA Finland story.

Despite the challenging situation, we are looking positively towards the future. We are making arrangements in our operations with the aim of serving you, our customers, even better and, among other things, offering you a wider selection of tableware and other tableware products than before. In the future, we will focus on maintaining high-quality handicraft production and manufacturing small series in our own production. We will also increase cooperation with finnish designers and artists, and we will make our expertise more widely available, especially in the art field.

Because the arrangements start immediately, we will sell our unnecessary ceramics production equipment. The equipment is suitable for workshop work or for the production of larger volumes of ceramics. For sale are, among other things, workbenches, sinks, mixers, pumps and molding machines.
